MEGA HORN (メガホーン)
Hometown: Gifu prefecture
MEGA HORN is a hot rhyme-man who gives messages with the sense of equality with his low, heavy voice. In 1995, he began listening to club music influenced by his friend. He was attracted to 'Buju Banton', Jamaica's popular artist. Going after him, he gradually became influenced by reggae. Forming ReggaeCrew with his friends, he began to hold the mic as an MC. He became a Dee Jay in 1997, and started to hold live performance regularly. During his performance, he encountered the singer 'RYU REX', who had been working in his hometown, the Gifu prefecture.

RYU REX is a singer who delivers attractive harmonies with exquisite chorus arrangement and beautiful melody lines. In 1993, during his high school career, his friends introduced him to the exciting world of clubbing. Attracted by the deep bass sound of reggae, he began to commit to it very quickly. He began to participate as the MC for the ReggaeCrew formed by his friends. After Mcing a couple of times live, he gradually became a singer. By then, he began to make the melodies. In 1999, he went to California, going through clubs and studios to brush up on his performance techniques. After returning to Japan, he joined 'MEGA HORN'.
RYU REX's stunning dance hall reggae vocals and MAGA HORN's incredible megaton-class Dee Jay together make Japan's most exquisite reggae duo - MEGARYU. Since their major debut in 2004, MEGARYU has released 2 albums. With their recent work [Garyusenpu(2006)], which became the HIT #1 album on the domestic chart, MEGARYU is currently noted as the most remarkable duo going beyond the reggae music scene in Japan.
